What to do in the shower room has been something of an conundrum. Initially we had thought to have a tiny slim one on the wall by the door, but it would just get in the way. After a little bit of sketching to get those less visually endowed up to speed, we agree to plonk one atop some studwork in the corner between the axes.

A little internet searching and we narrow it down to round or square, either must have a built in tap hole. The round is omnidirectional but the square will fill the corner fully.

Eventually we turn to Ikea as Beth's popping to Bristol in the afternoon. They happen to have a likely looking candidate, making the decision all the easier. A few hours later and it's all ready to go.

Beth's been a little Whirling Dervish throughout the last weekend. One minute putting holes in walls to reinstate an air brick, then next sanding the walls and ceilings and filling the holes. A little later, digging up the front garden ready for some new roses. It's exciting to finally be doing 'decorating' tasks and planning putting new things in. Finally it feels like forward progress. Yes, there is such a thing as backwards progress. It's what we've been doing so far, tearing nearly everything out.
